IF I FALL IN LOVE... WILL I BREAK MY HIP? April Knight (aka "Crying Wind", aka Linda Davison, aka Linda Stafford) is celebrating the publication her 65th book. This year she has had three books published, "HOW SCROOGE SAVED THE WORLD," "HE WHO LAUGHS LAST...LAUGHS BEST," and a romance novel for Seniors, "IF I FALL IN LOVE... WILL I BREAK MY HIP?" She has also had an award winning newspaper column for 25 years and has had over 1,000 stories published in various magazines. "HE WHO LAUGHS LAST...LAUGHS BEST," is the story of how Linda was teased and tormented and bullied at WPHS to the brink of suicide. Her mother had severe mental problems, often beating Linda and threatening to kill her. She never knew who her biological father was and when Linda was eight, she was abused by her uncle. Linda's childhood was a nightmare and she escaped by reading hundreds of books. When she was thirteen she began writing stories and when her first story was published in a national magazine she knew she'd found her purpose in life. By the time she graduated from high school she had had thirty-five stories published in magazines even though she was getting a "D" in English class. Her first book, "CRYING WIND," is a best selling, award winning autobiographical novel and has been in print continuously 45 years and has been translated into 17 languages and sold over three million copies worldwide. Linda (April) is a widow, she has lived in Hawaii, Alaska, Australia and England. She has four grown children and four grandchildren. She divides her time between Seattle, Honolulu and Australia. Her next book (#66) is a Western novel about a Wells Fargo Stage coach robbery and massacre in 1888, it is titled "Regret" and will be released in October. Her books can be purchased on Amazon.
