Pet Project is the leading Southern Colorado cat rescue group. We do not have a shelter, we rely on a dedicated group of foster parents. We have non- profit status and maintain an all- volunteer staff. We take cats and a very few dogs from local shelters. We offer advice regarding pet care and behavioral concerns, and strive to be an organization of honesty and integrity. We work to provide quality care for the animals and we are honest with perspective pet owners about animal history and temperament. We are dedicated to finding the perfect pet for you. Pet Project believes strongly that spaying and neutering is critical in the effort to lower the numbers of unwanted pets. Our policy is that all of our animals are spayed or neutered before they go home with their adoptive families.
