Having a servant's heart and business for benevolence as a core value of the organization, charitable giving in their local community is a priority. At the beginning of the year they hosted a giving back program called "Monumental Giving," where each new resident's $500 move-in fee was gifted to a local church or charity in the resident's name. At this event, $6,000 was given to the following churches and organizations: Monument Presbyterian Little Log Cabin Church Paws & Hooves Monument Police Department Pikes Peak Humane Society Tri-Lakes Methodist Church The Ascent Church Sunrise United Methodist Church Tri-Lakes Cares x2 Immaculate Conception MONUMENTAL GIMN YOU In addition, each Bethesda community has $5000 grant each year in which the leadership and home office teams decide where these grants can best benefit their local community. 2019's grant was divided amongst the Monument Fire Kiwanis Club (which was then passed along to Lewis Palmer School District's suicide prevention program "Sources of Strength" and to Mountain Community Senior Services to provide a backup camera on their new bus.
