NEWMONT CCV employees honored at combined SME and CMA National Westen Mining Conference Two Newmont CC&V employees were recertly honored with "Excellence in Innovative Safety Technology awards for their hard work and innovation at the combined Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration Annual Conference & Expo and Colorado Mining Association 121t Natonal Western Mining Conference & Exhibition. Chief Surveyor, Lance Goodale received the award for his implementation of drone use on the mine site; and, Radio Communications Technician, John Hind received the award for his work on implementation of CCaVs new radio system. Thank you to theseCC&V Senior Environmental Coordinator, Gary Horton was recenty employees for their innovative work on these programs CC8V employee receives Teller County Cares award honored with the Teller County Cares Volunteer Centennial Award. Gary received the award for his counbiess hours of volunteer time in the Cripple Creek and Victor communites.
