RELEASE THE DONKEYS Join the Two Mile High Club at the crossroads of C Street and Thurlow Ave in Cripple Creek, Colorado for the annual Donkey Release on Memorial Day, May 26, 2025. Festivities start at 11:30 and include a welcome from TMHC President Brandon Westhoff, an introduction of the Memorial Day Tribute by the American Legion and a visit from a special guest, "Teddy Roosevelt". At noon, the donkeys will arrive to roam the streets of Cripple Creek for the summer sea- son. The Elks eill be serving hamburgers and hot dogs and the Gold Camp Victorian Society will be adding atmosphere to the event. The Two Mile High Club will be selling merchandise and approved donkey biscuits so you can give the Donkeys a treat too!
