John Saxton was born and raised Vincennes Indiana and came to Arizona in 1976. In 2012 he moved to Canon City Colorado to start a Segway business. He runs pjhitchingpost.com.

Paul Schmucker who was originally from Wisconsin, moved to Monte Vista Colorado in 2002 to build log cabins. Joe Nissley was from Pennsylvania and moved to Monte Vista in 2007 to begin his career as a woodworker. In 2012 they came together and started PJ Hitching Post near Cañon City Colorado.
