About
The Humane Society of Fremont County is an independent, non-profit agency. Our agency is an open-admission animal shelter that provides animal-services to Fremont County CO, and the cities of Canon City, Florence, Wiiliamsburg, Rockvale and Westcliffe, CO. We are not a division of the Fremont County government or the city of Cañon City, nor are we operated by or receive any funding by the Humane Society of the United States. We are an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) corporation and are governed by a board of directors.
